1) Start with a clean slate
2) Paint a first coat of pale polish; let dry.
3) Find those hole-punch reinforcement stickers at an office supply store.
4) Cut in half.
5) Stick them on each nail, along where your half-moons would be, and paint overtop with your favorite red. Be careful not to smudge!
6) Let dry and pull off the stickers.
Mahhhvelous, dahling!
Wow, very nice job!
ReplyDeleteGoing to try it out asap!

I'd love to see how it turns out, if you try it! :)
DeleteI'm so trying this! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt's super-easy! I wish I had learned to do it earlier. :)
DeleteYour nails look fantastic! I tried this trick a few times a couple years back, but the glue from the stickers gave my (super!) sensitive skin a rash each time. Shame, it's such a hand, delightful technique. Maybe I should pick up another brand of stickers one of these days and try my luck again.

Ooh, that's a shame! I've tried it freehand, once, and it wasn't too bad, just took awhile; maybe you could try that? Some nail salons will do it, too.
