Cupcakes on the Red Carpet

You may recall that we took a trip to Tennessee earlier this year to see our dear friend Ivie's high school graduation ceremony.  Well, this weekend we went to her official movie themed graduation bash!  Doc was the DJ, the dinner music was a mix of movie soundtracks, and old Nancy Drew and Bulldog Drummond films were projected over the dance floor.  Movie posters and quotes were stacked along the room with Sharpies so we could autograph them (although I spent my time drawing a goatee on Godzilla).  Ivie graciously let me post some of the photos I took throughout the night.

Congratulations, Ivie!

Prohibition Night at the Museum

A week ago, Mr. Williams and I put on our suspenders and stockings—respectively—and headed to the Crime and Punishment Museum in Washington, D.C.  It’s been 80 years since prohibition, and they were celebrating with a 1920s themed tour experience, including a whiskey tasting.
Much like the bootleggers and flappers of the ‘20s, we accept any invitation to dress up and drink.  (More on the drinking later...)

The Formal Lego Party

Last spring, we decided to have (quite possibly) the world's first ever 'formal Lego party.'  Three teams competed to complete a structure first, with the prize being: candy.  Lots and lots of candy.
Many cupcakes were eaten, much fun was had, and it was declared a rousing success.
Huzzah!
Here are some photos of the chaos/fun....
